Early registration is now open for our 18th annual Alternative Investments Conference, taking place March 26th, 2026 in Chapel Hill, NC. The Alternative Investments Conference (AIC) is sponsored by the Institute for Private Capital at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

AIC is one of the premier alternative investment forums in the Southeast, featuring a full day of alternative asset programming, with keynotes, roundtables, and panels. AIC offers the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the most influential industry leaders in alternative investments – attendees represent the entire finance community and include LPs from pension plans, foundations and endowments, GPs, funds of funds, service providers, and academics. Conference attendance is limited to fewer than 250 attendees, creating a unique environment to network, share ideas, and learn from some of the best in the industry.
