Interest in ESG investing has exploded in the last few years, moving from what was mostly a niche market, solidly to the mainstream in a relatively short time period, with many investors increasingly focused on ESG value in PE investments as a way to mitigate long term risk. This survey was designed to provide a meaningful reference point for the benefits and challenges to ESG adoptions, and especially to highlight those issues that are unique to small-business investors.
